The universal symbol for recycling and last-year’s must-read book inspired Pentagram designer Angus Hyland to create this poster aimed at encouraging people to recycle. “Green is a shorthand for the environment – but for some reason graphically we tend to treat it as a block colour, ignoring all the variety that occurs in nature. So I decided to redraw the recycling symbol using as many different shades of green as possible, highlighting the many different ways to save the planet. As an added bonus, it gave me a nice pun for the title.”
