Bamboo baBy was founded by sisters, Chloe Archard and Sophie Tostevin in 2006 with the aim of providing unique and contemporary baby and children’s clothes which would reduce the impact that conventionally grown cotton has on the environment. Sophie is the creative force of the brand and fell in love with bamboo fabric during her degree at Kingston University. Sophie is involved with the business side of the company including looking after the brands dedicated customers.
Bamboo baBy aim to create clothes ethically and with a minimum impact on the environment. There clothes are high quality, made to last with contemporary but timeless styles. Bamboo is one of the worlds fastest growing plants, making it highly sustainable and can grow without the use of pesticides. Bamboo baBy uses organically grown bamboo to make clothing that is certified to be free of harmful chemicals by Oeko Tex.
